Urbanism

“Today, 55% of the world’s population lives in urban areas, a proportion that is expected to increase to 68% by 2050. Projections show that urbanization, the gradual shift in residence of the human population from rural to urban areas, combined with the overall growth of the world’s population could add another 2.5 billion people to urban areas by 2050.” These data of the United Nations indicate that the public, private sector, designers and producers have a major role in meeting this rapid growth in cities. It is the responsibility of these parties to provide the best service to the people in the cities that are decreasing public space areas day by day. As one of these, URBA offers contemporary design and technology solutions by producing durable products for urban use. Our main aim is to re-interpret traditional urban needs with contemporary design and technology tools and create solutions for emerging needs. To meet the demands of urbanization, URBA aims to be a solution partner. One of the largest metropolises in the world, Istanbul is aiming to use its experience and design focus for the whole world.
